I began my journey with Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) as an implementer, receiving expert consultation from FTF Behavior Consulting. From the start, I witnessed the powerful impact this compassionate approach had on my clients—teaching them to communicate, tolerate, and cooperate in ways that truly transformed their lives. Inspired by these results, I became a trainer to expand the reach of this life-changing work. Since then, I’ve successfully trained dozens of implementers, helping even more individuals experience meaningful, lasting change.

Custom Consultation package

Consultation services begin with a free 30-minute call to discuss your needs, assess your prior experience with PFA/SBT, and determine the best path forward. From there, we’ll select a client, develop an individualized plan for PFA implementation, and design a customized consultation package tailored to your goals. This may include Zoom sessions, phone calls, and live coaching—flexibly scheduled to support both you and your client every step of the way

PFA Consultation

Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) is a compassionate and trauma-informed approach to understanding the reason behind challenging behavior. It focuses on creating safe, dignified learning opportunities that lead to trust and cooperation. I provide consultation throughout the PFA process—guiding teams step by step as they learn how to identify the function of behavior in a safe, effective, and respectful way. Together, we create the foundation for lasting, meaningful change.

Skills Based Treatment (SBT)

Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) is a gentle, client-centered approach that teaches essential skills like communication, tolerance, and cooperation through joyful, trusting interactions. Built on the foundation of PFA, SBT helps individuals replace challenging behavior with meaningful, functional alternatives. I offer consultation throughout the SBT process—supporting teams as they implement treatment, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate progress. My goal is to ensure the process is both effective and empowering for clients and implementers alike.
